HISTORY OF TOTALSHIP
1999 – Current ownership purchased the a small local company that Specialized in same day messenger service in an around Montreal that would eventually become TotalShip
2002 – bought and added a local asset LTL trucking and warehousing company servicing the GMA
2007 – The name TotalShip was created and we added International services and cross-border LTL services and well as Domestic and International small parcels with FedEx, DHL and Canpar.
2010 – Totalship recognized the importance of technology and started developing a propriety shipping platform for small parcels.
2014 – We sold our local messenger division and launched our proprietary small package software management tools and integrated services with FedEx, DHL and Purolator
2016 – Canpar was added to our platform.
2018 – UPS, Canada Post and Loomis were added to our platform.
2019 – We started our US fulfillment warehouse while adding USPS as a small parcel solution for the United States. We also launched our new TMS to manage our over the road and international freight.
2020 – Developed our eCommerce plugins for both Shopify and WooCommerce. Initiated our first customer support ticketing system to help improve our response time and consumer experience.
2021 – Launched LTL services on our shipping platform and Q2 will introduce our new consumer single user interface while continuing to develop and focus on eCom and Small Business Solutions.
